Established in 1998, when owner Brent Dow moved to Phoenix, Arizona hoping to refine his studio skills. Spending two years developing a teen recording and music education program for the city of Phoenix, Brent found his passion. He decided to take what he has learned about studio operations and combine it with his experience in entertainment promotion. Rockwood Audio became the productions house for all his record label's needs.

Since its inception, Brent has worked to collect the pieces necessary for Rockwood Audio to provide good recording services to up and coming bands and accomplish many other types of audio projects. With McCort Entertainment as the driving force, Rockwood Audio is working hard on becoming a complete in-house productions company. In 2008, the Phoenix studio was launched to public use and in 2009 the corporate office was moved to Dallas, Texas.

Equipt for recording in 8 track simultaneous in digital and 16 tracks simultaneous in analog reel, RA is sure to appeal to a broad base of recording artist.� Also offered are in house instruments and musicians who can help complete any solo artists work.� Composer on staff to create “works made for hire” and voice talent also available.

With 15 years of total experience, Rockwood Audio can accomplish almost any audio engineering feat from a simple podcast to a movie soundtrack.� From voiceover to analog re-mastering.� RA also plans to expand into audio equipment production and hopes to release their first studio microphone this winter and many other pieces of pro-audio gear on the drawing board.
